Hyundai shines in 2022 Canadian Car of the Year Awards from AJAC

The Automobile Journalists Association of Canada (AJAC) released its list of category finalists this week and Hyundai shines in multiple categories. Overall Hyundai has a finalist in four categories and five Hyundai vehicles are up for a range of awards.

The Canadian Car of the Year program is Canada’s premier automotive award, testing new, updated, and carry-over models every year to determine the best vehicle not only in its segment, but overall in Canada. Each vehicle is tested by AJAC journalists during the year and during a week of back-to-back testing at the Canadian Tire Motorsports Park in Ontario. AJAC journalists then compile the results to find the best car and best utility vehicle in Canada.

The winners will be announced on February 28 in partnership with the Canadian International Auto Show. Here is the full list of Hyundai category finalists:
