Here is the SUV and Crossover Lineup from Hyundai in 2023

Hyundai in 2023

Hyundai has many different SUVs and crossovers to offer in order to fit everyone’s needs. Here is a quick look at each model offered in 2023 that could help you determine the best match for your needs.

Venue

The 2023 Hyundai Venue has been the smallest and most affordable Hyundai model since the Accent was discontinued, but this doesn’t mean that you should discount it. Indeed, the Venue has many qualities and advantages, such as its ease of driving, its fuel efficiency, its technology, and its youthful style. The Venue is powered by a 121-horsepower 1.6L four-cylinder engine which only needs 6.9 L/100 km on the highway.

Kona

The 2023 Hyundai Kona is the next step up in terms of size and price in the brand’s lineup, which could make it a great choice if you need a bit more space than in the Venue but still want an SUV that can zip around town with ease. The 2023 Kona is powered by a choice of three powertrains. The standard model uses a 2.0L engine that makes 147 horsepower and 132 lb-ft of torque paired with an IVT transmission. The Kona N uses a turbocharged 2.0L engine to deliver 276 horsepower and 289 lb-ft of torque via an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission in order to provide a much more dynamic driving experience. Lastly, the Kona Electric is powered by a 64-kWh battery and a 150-kW electric motor which gives it impressive performances and a range of 415 kilometres.

Ioniq 5

The 2023 Hyundai Ioniq 5 is the most advanced vehicle in the brand’s lineup due to its modern electric powertrain and its distinctive style. This model is the first from the new Ioniq family which will continue to expand in the coming years. The current Ioniq 5 is also one of the very few electric vehicles to use an 800-volt battery architecture which allows charging at rates of up to 350 kW, making it possible to go from 10 to 80% charge in only 18 minutes. Two batteries and two powertrain choices are available, giving the Ioniq 5 between 225 and 320 horsepower as well as 354 to 488 kilometres of range.

Tucson

The 2023 Hyundai Tucson remains a very popular model due to its practical format and its good value proposition in the segment. Indeed, this model benefits from many standard features which are optional on other compact SUVs despite its price which is one of the lowest in the segment. The Tucson also distinguishes itself by offering three powertrains which are a regular gasoline engine, a traditional hybrid setup, and a plug-in hybrid version. Those looking for maximum fuel efficiency without wanting to buy a fully electric vehicle can turn to the Tucson PHEV due to its range of 53 kilometres on electric power and its gasoline engine to act as a backup.

Santa Fe

As with the Tucson, the 2023 Hyundai Santa Fe also offers a choice between regular gasoline power, traditional hybrid, and plug-in hybrid. The Santa Fe is a larger SUV than the Tucson since it is more frequently considered a mid-size model. Due to its higher weight, the Santa Fe PHEV doesn’t have as much range as the Tucson PHEV, but it is still able to drive 50 kilometres without using fuel.

Palisade

The Palisade is the largest and most expensive SUV in the Hyundai lineup this year, as well as the only vehicle which can seat up to 8 passengers on three rows of seats. This model benefits from all of the brand’s most advanced technologies and it is powered by a 3.8L V6 engine and an 8-speed automatic transmission.
